Dear Friends:

Last month was the 35th Carrera Panamericana, the annual week-long 2,000 mile race from southern to northern Mexico. I think this was our 32nd or 33rd start! This year it started in Veracruz and ended in Durango. And, always exciting -- we came around one corner to find a burro in the road, around another were three giant longhorn cattle on the loose! And pleased to say with our trusty 1954 Olds (slightly modified with 630hp!) we finished a respectable 4th overall of some 50+ cars.

Catch us this month at BDNY, November 13th and 14th at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC, in booth #1843. We’ll have many old standbys and a lot of new products on display. And always a terrific NYC reception, for which we are ever grateful!

Shoes for the Homeless here in LA does exactly that: provide free shoes to the homeless. LA carries the dubious distinction of being the homeless capital of the USA with more than 55,000 living on the streets. We are proud to be in our fifth year of working with Shoes for the Homeless, and 2022 marks our third year asking clients and suppliers to join us. The drive starts today, November 1st and runs through December 15th.
