Dear Friends:
The cartoon below seems especially appropriate in light of the past two years - pandemic, recession, high unemployment, political upheaval, more recession, and now a 100% switcherooo - more than full employment, inflation - Yi! Yi! Yi! One’s head never stops spinning!
So, yes, not a bad idea to step back and smell the roses. Revel in the moment.
We are just wrapping up our exhibit at HD Expo last week and it was a smash hit! Visitors commented on our new stylish components, which always makes our day. Further indications we are emerging from the past two dark years.
And moving right alone, we are putting the finishing touches on our booth for NEOCON in Chicago, June 13-15 at the Merchandise Mart. We will be on the 7th floor, in two booths again this year, numbers 7-9030 and 7-9046; please do stop by.
In 40+ years we have only had two sales, and the second one is going on now! Some great items at small prices. Check them out here. And remember – when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Though I am writing this ahead of time, you will be reading it one day after the Chihuahua Express race ends. It is a fav, a 1,200 mile, 3 day rally around the state of Chihuahua in northern Mexico. I’ve won it 3 or 4 times and will try once again in our demon Olds, “Olds en Nombre Solamente”, which translates to “Olds in Name Only”. Every ’54 Olds had 630hp, right? Stay tuned!
