To use the Mockett grommet for a flush mount, first counterbore into a hole with a diameter of 1 1/2 inches and a depth of 1/8 inches. After that, you'll need to drill a 1 1/4 inch hole. Once these steps are completed, position the grommet into the created opening so that its flange settles entirely flush within the 1/8 inch depression. This way, you ensure the grommet is mounted flush.
